Ajax is reportedly considering terminating the loan deal of Liverpool midfielder James McConnell due to his lack of playing time.The decision comes after McConnell failed to make a significant impact for the team, making only seven appearances for a total of 219 minutes.

McConnell's last appearance for Ajax was on November 5, when the team lost to Galatasaray. He has not played since, partly due to a lack of match fitness.

Ajax is currently struggling in the Dutch Eredivisie, sitting 14 points behind PSV's top spot. In the UEFA Champions League, the team has zero points from five games, with their next match against Qarabaq on Wednesday.
