Armstrong said in an interview, "We know that our performance will improve as we get more playing time. The main goal of our first friendly was to work on our fitness and get back to playing on the grass. In the first half, we showed some of what we're capable of, but the second half wasn't as good as we wanted it to be. We know we need to improve.
Armstrong likes to be involved in the game and thinks that's part of his strengths. As he plays more with his teammates, Tim and Jimmy, he'll get to know their playing styles better and try to find ways to contribute more to the team. Armstrong feels he's done well so far, but there's still a lot for him to improve on.
Armstrong had a good experience on loan and learned a lot about himself as a player. He's trying to show his team that he can do different things on the field and hopefully impress them. Armstrong is taking things one day at a time and not putting too much pressure on himself.
