The termination of De Rossi's contract, which was worth €3m per year, was confirmed this week.
De Rossi was placed on gardening leave in 2022 after being sacked by Roma, but his deal was set to run until 2027.
The mutual decision to end the contract will reduce Roma's wage bill and may pave the way for De Rossi's return to senior coaching.
