Wolves' woes deepened in the final 10 minutes of the first half, when Josh King chased a ball over the top and was brought down by Emmanuel Agbadou's clumsy challenge. Referee John Brooks deemed this to be a denial of a clear goalscoring opportunity and issued a red card to the Ivorian player.

Late in the game, Samuel Chukwueze hit the post, and Fulham earned their first win in six games against teams starting the day in the bottom three. Wolves, meanwhile, are now 14 league games without a win, dating back to last season.
