Joao Pedro was left out of the final two games of the season after an incident during a training session with his then-Brighton teammate Jan-Paul van Hecke.
From Chelsea's recent Club World Cup camp, Pedro explained that such conflicts are common among players who strongly compete for victories.
"Those who know me understand my personality," he said. "In moments when two players are highly motivated to win, these kinds of situations can arise." He emphasized that it was a normal occurrence between two players in the heat of competition.
Joao Pedro also expressed his desire to focus on his current team, Chelsea, moving forward.
"I had a great experience at Brighton, but now I'm part of Chelsea, and I'd rather talk about my new team," he said.
