Samuels-Smith joined Chelsea in July 2023, initially signing from Everton. During his two-year stint at Stamford Bridge, he gained valuable experience by playing for Chelsea's Under-18 and Under-21 teams.
The young defender, who represents England at the Under-19 level, has also been a part of Chelsea's senior matchday squad on seven occasions, showcasing his potential and dedication to the sport.
As part of the transfer, Strasbourg has acquired Samuels-Smith's services for a fee of €7.5 million. He has committed to a long-term deal with the club, which will see him play for Strasbourg until 2030.
