The Spaniard is set to be inducted into the League Managers' Association 1000 club, joining a prestigious group of managers who have achieved this feat, including Brian Clough, Sir Alex Ferguson, and Sir Matt Busby.
Guardiola spoke about reaching 1000 games, saying it was an honour after so many years in the job.
"To reach 1,000 games in management is something very special for me," he said.
Guardiola reflected on his career, citing the support of his clubs and the opportunities he has had to work without distraction.
"I have been so fortunate in my career to work for three amazing clubs. At Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City, I have had full support. It means I have been able to work without distraction and be the best manager I can be."
Guardiola also expressed his gratitude to his family, who have supported him throughout his career.
