In an interview, Caicedo said, "For a long time, my dad always talked to me and said I have to shoot on target, because I have a lot of possibilities to score goals."
Caicedo has taken his father's advice to heart and has made a conscious effort to shoot for goal.
When asked about his goalscoring form, Caicedo said, "I tried to listen to my dad, that is why now I am shooting. So when I score goals, I just remember him. It is because of him."
Caicedo also emphasized the importance of continuous learning and improvement in his game.
"Every day I want to improve because you never stop learning," he said. "Every time I go to training or play a match, I learn something."
Regarding Chelsea's goals for the season, Caicedo stated that the team's aim is to win trophies, but they are taking it one step at a time.
"For sure, our aim is to win trophies," he said. "It's a big club, we always want to win trophies, but we go step-by-step because now we have four competitions, it's a very long season, so we need to go slowly."
