Newport County's chairman, Huw Jenkins, expressed his enthusiasm for Fuchs' appointment. "We see Christian as the sort of person to lead our club forward," said Jenkins. "We believe he shares our ambition and goals for Newport County."
Jenkins also mentioned the team's future plans, stating, "I do feel we can now look forward with a great deal of optimism. We'll look to improve our current situation in League Two and take things from there."
Fuchs has expressed his own ambitions, saying he wants to manage in the Premier League one day. Jenkins believes Fuchs shares Newport County's vision for the team's future.
