Monchi's visit to Norway on Easter Monday added to the speculation. He watched RBK's match against Valerenga, where Nypan played for 70 minutes and helped his team win.

Monchi was accompanied by Villa scout Alberto Benito. They left the stadium as soon as Nypan was substituted.
