Here are some key statistics for each team after the final match.
Real Betis: Spanish dominance ends
Real Betis's best European campaign ended in heartbreak as they couldn't hold onto their first-half lead. Despite this, they have much to be proud of for their incredible performance in the opening 45 minutes and throughout the knockout stages.
Real Betis has struggled against English teams in Europe, with a poor record of 1-1-7 in their ninth such match. This defeat also marks the end of a 24-year run for Spanish football, where a LaLiga club has been beaten in a European final by a non-Spanish side.
Before this, the last time it happened was in 2000/01 when Bayern Munich defeated Valencia in the Champions League showpiece. Spanish clubs had gone 20 unbeaten in finals against teams from other countries, including nine wins against Premier League sides, before the streak ended on Wednesday.
Chelsea: History-makers roll through UECL
Chelsea was the overwhelming favourite to lift the Conference League at the beginning of the season, and they lived up to expectations in impressive fashion.
The Blues scored 42 times en route to glory and became the first side ever to win all of UEFA's major club competitions, except for the Champions League. They won the other three trophies at their first attempt.
Chelsea also managed to win 12 of their 13 games in the UECL proper, which is a remarkable feat. They achieved this in the 2018/19 season as well, although they played 15 games with three draws. Only West Ham has had a better season record in the UECL than Chelsea's 12-0-1.
