Liverpool is struggling, having lost four of their last five matches, and is in need of a win to catch league leaders Arsenal, who are seven points ahead.
Ramsay played in the EFL Cup loss to Palace and impressed many, who believe he has the potential to succeed in the first team.
Manager Arne Slot praised Ramsay's performance, stating that he helped create more scoring opportunities during the game.
"I thought Calvin had a very good game," Slot said in a post-match press conference. "He played calmly and composed, and we had more chances to score in the first half-hour than Palace did."
Slot has been searching for a consistent right-back, and with Jeremie Frimpong out injured, Ramsay's return could be a timely boost.
Ramsay has faced challenges on loan at several clubs, including Preston, Bolton, Wigan, and Kilmarnock, but his return to the team could increase competition for places and help the side improve.
