"It's wonderful to see everyone back at the training ground after the break," Potter said. "The players and staff have returned feeling refreshed, energized, and ready to work hard. There's a positive atmosphere around the team, and everyone is excited to get started."
According to Potter, the first day of preseason training always brings a sense of enthusiasm and new beginnings. He sees it as a chance for the team to set the right standard from the very beginning.
Potter also confirmed that the entire squad has reported back for training, except for Edson Álvarez, who won the Gold Cup with Mexico over the weekend. This is a positive sign, as it allows the team to do some quality work together right from the start.
Additionally, a few players who were on loan last season have returned to the team, and there are some new faces on the staff. Potter is happy to welcome them and hear about their experiences.
Despite the hard work ahead, Potter and the team are looking forward to the challenge and are excited about the new season.
