Salah played a crucial role in Liverpool's Premier League title win last season, scoring 29 goals and providing 18 assists. He also received the Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year award, securing nearly 90% of the votes.
Salah is joined by his Liverpool teammate Alexis Mac Allister, as well as other talented players from top English clubs. These include Declan Rice from Arsenal, who had a standout season with nine goals and 10 assists in 52 appearances.
Another surprise nominee is Cole Palmer from Chelsea, who won the PFA Young Player of the Year award for 2023/24 despite struggling in the league last season.
Other contenders include Alexander Isak from Newcastle, who scored 23 goals and helped his team qualify for the Champions League, and Bruno Fernandes from Manchester United, who was one of the few bright spots in the team's challenging season.
The awards ceremony will take place in Manchester on August 19th.
