Rodrygo's future at Real Madrid is uncertain due to a disagreement with former coach Carlo Ancelotti at the end of last season.
Although the new coach, Xabi Alonso, is optimistic about keeping Rodrygo for the upcoming season, the player remains unhappy about his decreased role in the team over the past year.
According to a respected football expert, contact between Rodrygo and Manchester City is ongoing.
The expert mentioned that Rodrygo could be the key signing for Manchester City this summer, and the club has set a price for his transfer, reportedly 100 million euros.
However, the expert also suggested that Manchester City might be willing to negotiate the price, possibly paying 80 or 85 million euros upfront and the remaining amount in installments.
It's worth noting that Rodrygo has also received an offer from a team in Saudi Arabia, in addition to interest from Manchester City.
